When Christiana and Kyle, a sweet couple from the D.C. area with roots in Brazil and Maryland inquired about wedding welcome gifts, I knew they were something special! I was in the beginning stages of offering watercolor crests as a way to add pretty details to wedding welcome gifts and they were the perfect couple to offer this to. I was ecstatic when they were just as thrilled as I was to add this unique element to their gifts!
Although I considered painting their crest to reflect hobbies and who they were as a couple, we ended up going with a beautiful, elegant, monochromatic crest to reflect their wedding color palette. It ended up serving as the front-side of their welcome notes and gift tags. And since they were also given the digital copies of their crest, they could use it to make custom thank you cards and any other pretty details their hearts desired!
Christiana and her family are originally from Brazil, so authentic brigadeiro was gifted inside each welcome gift box. They were adorned with the finest silk ribbon to complement the wedding color palette.
The gift recipe included two cans of Guarana, Brazilian soda, a two-pack of brigadeiros, and a bag of Maryland inspired potato chips – a representation of both the bride and groom!
I loved how these custom watercolor crest gift tags gently kissed each gift box! They really helped tie-in the color palette of the wedding throughout the weekend.
Welcome notes in each gift box kindly reminded guests about important times and locations. They also so sweetly thanked guests for making the trip and let them know the inspiration for what they chose to gift.
