Bloody Mary Signature Cocktail Sign
Planning a large brunch celebration? You’ll definitely want a Bloody Mary option on your menu! They are the perfect cocktail for midday affairs. The mix can be prepared ahead of your event cutting down on wait times. Serve them without alcohol if a guest desires and they won’t miss out on the social aspect of drinking. A garnish bar could be a fun addition allowing friends and family to choose from adding bacon, shrimp, olives, cheese, pickles, etc. Or keep it simple and finish them with celery and a lemon or lime wedge. This drink is very versatile, so have fun!
Bloody Mary Recipe
If you aren’t familiar with this liquid brunch staple, in its most basic form it’s a combination of mix: tomato juice, horseradish,Worcestershire sauce, celery salt, garlic salt, black pepper, and hot sauce and vodka. The mix alone, when made with fresh ingredients, is so good that it makes a delicious virgin cocktail. Ratios of ingredients are all about preference. I love specialty infused vodkas like pickle or jalapeño, but don’t worry about getting premium because you’ll hardly taste it.
Another thing to keep in mind are food allergies. Some make their mix with Clamato juice instead of plain tomato juice which is deadly to anyone with a shellfish allergy. When serving large crowds where you might not know everyone’s allergies, it would be safer to stay away from using that in your mix. Or keep options separate/clearly marked.
