Mint Julep Signature Cocktail Sign
A Mint Julep is an iconic bourbon cocktail that would make a wonderful signature drink for your wedding or event. With its popularity and simple ingredients, your bartender could sling a lot of these to guests without long wait times. And even though they are traditionally served in julep cups, crest cups would be perfect for serving up a side of family heraldry!
Mint Julep Recipe
Add about 4 mint leaves and half an ounce of simple syrup to a glass. Muddle to release the mint oils into the syrup. Pour in 2 ounces of bourbon. Strain into a julep cup and top with crushed ice until overflowing. You can sprinkle a little powdered sugar over the ice if you like and then garnish with a mint sprig. If you are making a lot of these, you may want to make your own mint simple syrup. It would cut down on muddling and allow you to get drinks to guests faster.
