Light blue silk ribbon tying together a pretty package of sea salt caramels, goats milk bath soak, a sweet fig scented candle, and the prettiest branded welcome book? Yes, please! Today, we’re getting to know Klaire of Klaire Dixius Photography. Please, allow her to introduce herself and share her personal experience of gifting through The Welcoming District!
My name is Klaire, and I own Klaire Dixius Photography – a fine art photography studio right outside of Washington, D.C. I specialize in weddings and anniversaries, and love to intentionally build up others’ marriages through natural, organic imagery. I firmly believe in documenting the legacy of a marriage, in the very beginning, and also as it grows.
I decided to gift my clients with things that would exude rest and relaxation, for several different reasons. I got married myself within this past year, and can relate to how stressful wedding planning can be. The wedding day is just the beginning of a beautiful marriage, and whenever I had the chance to rest while I was engaged, I was reminded of that. I want to provide an opportunity for my clients to feel taken care of, while also giving them an excuse to relax and remember why they are planning their wedding in the first place.
All of my clients have absolutely loved their gifts! It’s such a joyful thing when a bride texts me saying it was the perfect remedy for a difficult week, or that it made them excited for planning their wedding again!
My favorite part about gifting through The Welcoming District was Alicia’s keen sense of detail. She put together a gift that both looked aesthetically pleasing and coherent with my brand, while also thoughtfully pulling together products that would serve my clients well. Also, it is such a perk knowing I won’t have to step into a post office in order for my clients to receive a heart felt gift!
Thank you, Klaire! It’s a joy to work with you and I love that we’ve become friends! xoxo
